Flash Photography

Eh, a weak ass picture -I know. Finally figured out how to work the flash correctly in manual mode and took this. It is a tad bit out of focus but it is whatever.

messing around in my room and i took this. gets me dizzy just looking at it. i did it by zooming in really fast with a slow shutter, thats why i had to bump up the ISO and why it is so grainy.

Another HDR shot. I liked the original -.3EV picture I took of this but I wanted to try and see how an HDR attempt would look with this picture. I'm pretty happy with the results.

Artic Silver

HDR shot I took at Charles' car at a top secret military base, hence the barbed wire and one light. Anyways, this is my 2nd or 3rd serious attempt at HDR. I like how the exposure came out on this, nothing is THAT overexposed; yes the back is a tad, but not that much. The only post processing done to this picture was the HDR.

Bounce Flash

I really like this shot. I took it at the Gong Sung. In this picture I bounced the flash to my left and up a tad. I really love how the lighting came out. The only thing that makes this picture bad is that my car is dirty and you could see some spots on my car. As far as the post processing goes I brightened it up a bit and unsharpened the mask, so not much at all.

Don't know why I'm posting this picture, I'm not a big fan of it.

a quicky shot i took of mike's sisters car in the middle of the street on owensmouth. i went across the street and waited for the green light for the traffic perpendicular to me and i just was in the crosswalk taking pictures until the light went red. for a really quick set up i really liked this shot. of course if i had more time i woulda been able to do a lot better. and the title of this post is from a license plate i saw on an x5. haha, i thought it was really smart.

VrooOOM VROOOM

i tried something new with the post processing on this one. First i did a virginet or w/e you call it on the left most tip, then i duplicated that layer and did one of the right most tip. then i layered it. i actually really like it. it looks pretty pro except for the reflection on the tip that makes it hard to read the name.

The Busy 101

taken at a spot mike knows, a little pedestrian bridge over the 101 between shoup and valley circle. i had to lean the camera so it would take the picture between the fence.

Piuma At Night

piuma at night, something i see a lot now that i canyon more. as far as the pp i just edited out a distracting x mark on the ground in the right bottom corner.

pretty much just high f/stop and slow shutter. a little tiny bit of pp, darken in the foreground a bit, then unsharpened the mask for more contrast.

weak sos attempt

here is a weak sos attempt at a product picture. the reason why it isn't so great is one because of the lighting and two because it isn't a proper light box. once i make a real light box i'm sure i'll be able to do a shiet load better.
